What is TeleHealth PT?
TeleHealth PT/rehabilitative services offer an alternative remote method of physical therapy services through virtual video to complement in-person clinical care. These services enable physical therapists to provide comprehensive, medically necessary services designed to meet the needs of patients, particularly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. TeleHealth PT would increase beneficiary access to care, especially to those living in rural or medically underserved areas, those living with impaired mobility, and/or those who are immunocompromised.

- Q&A discussion about current condition/injury and PT recommendations
- Monitored performance and progression of therapeutic exercises with education on proper technique and form to improve strength and endurance to reduce hospitalization rates

- Education on home and activity modification for fall prevention and improved safety
- Development and implementation of home exercise programs for continued wellbeing
